چکیده

Abstract An afford to enhance TiO 2 activity under visible light as well utilize the iron rusty waste, has been conducted by doping Fe from waste into . The was performed sol-gel method of titania tetra isopropoxide with 3+ ions dissolved rust waste. In doping, concentration varied giving various mole ratios :Fe. doped photocatalysts were characterized using FTIR, XRD, SRUV, and SEM-EDX instruments. photocatalytic evaluated photodegradation Congo red light. effect some parameters that govern process such amount dopant, reaction time, photocatalyst mass, solution pH, initial dye also studied. characterization results reveal have which can remarkably narrow band gap energy (Eg), shifting zone. accordance, in is considerably enhanced. Eg decreasing actively improving are controlled most effective shown –Fe (1:0.8), but highest observed for (1:0.4). It found 5 mg/L 50 mL over (1:0.4) light, about 99%, be reached applying 60 mg min, pH 5. implied utilized prepare responsive used preventing pollution.
